Gail V. Meadows, 64, of New Ulm, Texas passed away on November 3, 2017 in Houston, TX.

Gail was born on November 12, 1952 to Edward and Thelma (Henderson) Vanask in Rochester, NY. She moved from Rochester to Arizona and eventually settled in Houston where she met her husband, Ed Meadows. They were married on January 14, 1983 and spent 34 happy years together. Gail worked as a medical designer, specifically for a pacemaker manufacturer. Gail was the designer of the world's smallest pacemaker at the time. Later, she and Ed traveled the United States together while Ed worked in sales. Their favorite spots to visit for their natural beauty were North Carolina and Utah. Eventually, they settled in New Ulm, TX, where they lived for the last nine years.

Gail is survived by her husband, Ed Meadows of New Ulm, TX; her step-daughter, Patricia Kellar of Montgomery, TX; and two step-grandsons, Shawn Kellar and Josh Kellar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Thelma (Henderson) Vanask; and her brother, John Vanask.
