Patricia Ruth Kelly

Patricia Ruth Kelly, 80, of Columbus, Texas, formerly of Houston, TX, passed away on September 14, 2017 in Columbus, TX.

She was born on October 15, 1936 to Harold and Dorothy (Jones) Salsgiver in Houston, TX. Patricia was a retired Administrative Assistant for Honeywell. On February 8, 1963 she married Paul D. Kelly. Her proudest accomplishment besides her children was her involvement with the choir at Christ United Methodist Church in Sugarland, TX. With the choir, she not only performed in the U.S., but also the United Kingdom, the Ukraine, and Baltic States.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Michael J. Hogan and wife Gail of Lula, GA, Shawn P. Hogan of Cypress, TX, and Paul E. Kelly and wife Tracy of Columbus, TX; grandchildren, Ian Hogan, Kara Hogan Scott, Bryan Hogan, and Emily Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella Hogan and Levi Michael Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Kelly; father, Harold Claude Salsgiver; mother, Dorothy Beatrice Jones Salsgiver; son, William "Billy" Hogan; brothers, Jack Allyn Salsgiver, and William Harold Jones; and sisters, Marjorie Ann Salsgiver Brown, Mary Louise Salsgiver, and Carol Sue Salsgiver Metz.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Henneke Funeral Home, Columbus, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:30 am at Henneke Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Mayhugh, officiating.

Burial will take place in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, TX Monday, September 18, 2017 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association - Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030-2008.
