Charles J. Bubela

Charles J. Bubela, 73, of Nada, Texas passed away peacefully on July 24, 2017 at his home in Nada in the presence of his loving family.

Charles, also known by many as Butch, was born on September 29, 1943 to Charles and Lorine (Schneider) Bubela in El Campo, TX. He worked for many years for the State Highway Department, Garwood Rice Dryer and El Seven Ranch in various capacities. He was a former member of the Nada Knights of Columbus, Council #3371. He is known for his love of fishing, hunting, domino playing, sausage making, and polka music. He was a loving son, father and grandfather. His love for his family was unconditional.

Charles is survived by his son, Bryan K. Bubela of Nada, TX; his daughter, Aimee Boettcher and her husband Brandon of Rosenberg, TX; five sisters, Monica Stock and her husband James of Weimar, TX; Judy Pavlicek and her husband Darrell of Sugar Land, TX; Marcia Quitta and her husband Jim of Louise, TX; Elaine Westfhal and her husband Charlie of Rosenberg, TX; and Bertha Genzer and her husband Wayne of Corpus Christi, TX; a brother, Ronald Bubela and his wife Monica of East Bernard, TX; and his three grandchildren, Charlette, Nickelette, and Amber Bubela.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William and Lorine (Schneider) Bubela; a sister, Barbara Svatek; and a brother, Gregory Bubela.

A private family Memorial Service will be held at later date.
