Thelma Jean Weaver, 91, of Columbus, TX passed away on July 23, 2017 in Columbus, TX.

She was born on October 4, 1925 to Lloyd and Nettie (Warnke) Swetnam in Houston, TX. Thelma was a retired Associate for Wal-Mart and former owner of Western Auto and Weavers Lawnmower and Appliance Center. On October 24, 1943 she married William H. "Bill" Weaver.

She was a member of Pilot Club and Ladies VFW Auxiliary.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Nettie Cernosek and husband Frankie Joe of Holman, TX, sons, Gary Weaver of Columbus, TX, and Walter Weaver and wife Judy of Columbus, TX, grandchildren, Craig Cernosek, Courtney Doyle and fiancÚ Chuck Vollbaum, David Weaver, Casey Weaver and wife Renee, Kevin Weaver, Matthew Weaver and fiancÚ Danielle Klekner, Kari Beth Weaver, great grandchildren Gabrielle Cernosek, Olivia Cernosek, Connor Doyle, Callie Doyle, Lucy Weaver, Penelope Weaver, and Oliver Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd T. Swetnam, mother, Nettie Warnke Swetnam, husband, William H. "Bill" Weaver, daughter-in-law, Cherry Weaver, brother, Lloyd T. Swetnam, and sister-in-law, Betty Swetnam.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm & Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 8:00 am - 10:00 am at Henneke Funeral Home Columbus, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at Henneke Funeral Home, Columbus, TX with Rev. Victor Morrison officiating.

Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus, TX.

Pallbearers are all the grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Mayes, Elton Mayes, Kenny Weaver, Roger Swetnam, Brian Swetnam, Scott Swetnam, Darrel Appelt, and all her great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice.
